When comparing the city of Arlington to large, urban areas across the country there is no comparison.  We don’t have Broadway like New York does.  We don’t have the Sears Tower like Chicago and we don’t have Universal Studios like Los Angeles.  WE have a community where our children can walk to school.  WE have a community where businesses don’t need to bar their doors and windows after closing and WE have a community that cares!

There is a perception that life moves slower in Midwestern towns but the reality is quite different.  We don’t spend 20 minutes driving through traffic to the closest grocery store, we don’t wait in line at the post office for 25 minutes and we don’t sit in the entrance of our restaurants for over an hour while we wait for our table.  We spend our lives LIVING!
